Literature Text
The sun may feel harmless
It may seem harmless
But that is not always the case
The sun scorches my skin
Turning it into a darker color
Like the color of falling autumn leafs
The sun and its heat almost pins me down
Down to the ground where I can't move anymore
It burns you little by little
Almost giving off an invisible aurora
The sweat turns into a paradise
With the winds blowing
Almost if you were in a suit that covers you in water
You get tired easily
But nothing will bring you down
Because there are still some protecting
The slightest of shade cools you off even more
If you lose to the sun and its light
You are already scorched
It may seem harmless
But that is not always the case
The sun scorches my skin
Turning it into a darker color
Like the color of falling autumn leafs
The sun and its heat almost pins me down
Down to the ground where I can't move anymore
It burns you little by little
Almost giving off an invisible aurora
The sweat turns into a paradise
With the winds blowing
Almost if you were in a suit that covers you in water
You get tired easily
But nothing will bring you down
Because there are still some protecting
The slightest of shade cools you off even more
If you lose to the sun and its light
You are already scorched

Fear of the Giants
We can't afford power
We can't afford Healthcare
In this country of ours
Why isn't this fair
There's a man in a palace
With gold to hide malice
Why isn't everyone equal
Don't they know that we're still people
I know some have it worse
But that's not a blessing, a curse
We can save ourselves
So how could we help
Those who are more in need
It's only more mouths to feed
Because those who are higher
Are just like vampires
They suck all others dry
We're losing our rights to live
But what of who's going to die?

Beauty in the Pain
In beauty lies the pain of a thousand knives,
as the sharp sensation stabs the corners
of your very lips.
As your cheeks are forced up against their will,
As your body is pushed down, kept so very still.
This is not the post that's natural to you.
And in fact there are only very, very few
ways in which you can stay beautiful
and yet still seem so comfortable
as if you never forced the beauty at all.
For beauty comes at the price of affliction,
as the scalpel becomes your true addiction,
the way it cuts through your unblemished skin
digging deeper, deeper, so much deeper in
as you grit your teeth and bit that bottom lip,
yet all you've

Who I've become.
Once upon a time;
Oh so cliche.
I met a man promising to change things.
Foolish innocence on my behalf,
I believe his every cold lie.
He took me on a ride;
One I couldn't get off.
Spinning round and round and round.
I could feel my stomach doing cartwheels.
Excitement and terror mixed.
Time began to fade into itself.
His mask began to melt.
He was so beautiful; what a mistake.
Satan himself was under that mask.
I was trapped. Held Captive.
His for the taking.
I was a toy, A doll of sorts if you will.
Life became a blur, a muddled mess.
Life is so funny sometimes.
The monster won the game.
It was all just a beautiful game.
Blood stained him
